Island hopping and boat tours.  Explore Apo island's white sand beaches, clear aquamarine waters, its lush coral reefs and diverse marine life, challenging rock formations, scenic lighthouse and it's quaint village. Hike your way to the marine sanctuary, where the diving and snorkeling experience is at its best. And, if you're still up for it, we challenge you to a 30 minute trek to the island's peak- the lighthouse, where you will be rewarded with a panoramic view of the island. Spend the rest of the day swimming or just lazing at the white sand beaches before heading back to the mainland by mid-afternoon.

Dolphin watching at the nearby Bais City: you will enjoy watching the acrobatic show of the playful dolphins and the pygmy sperm whales. These sea creatures often shows up between May and September. A half hour drive north of Escosas Beach Resort brings you to Bais City, where an oversized outrigger motor boat will cruise you along Tañon Strait to spot dolphins, and if lucky, whales too! You will also visit the Campuyo white sand bar where you can swim and snorkel in its blue clear waters, or just laze around the fine white sand beach. Cap off the day with a hearty lunch on board, with mixed grill. On the way back, you will cruise along the Talabong mangrove island, a 400-hectare protected mangrove forest which serves as natural habitat of birds and other wildlife.
An hour and half drive north of Dumaguete brings you to Mabinay. Experience getting your feet wet, ducking and crawling under centuries old stalactites, while observing cave fishes, bats, and other insects amid the calcite formations and underground spring water.
Northwest of Dumaguete and 1500 meters above sea level is where you will find the twin lakes of Balinsasayaw. Lake Balinsasayaw is a Natural Park that is home to 180 species of dipterocarp and non-dipterocarp trees, 113 species of birds, 27 mammals, and 49 amphibians and reptiles.
